1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Craft Home Remodeling ("Craft," "we," "us," or "our"), a licensed California general building contractor located at 11403 W Bernardo Ct #204, San Diego, CA 92127. These Terms govern your use of crafthomeremodel.com and any forms, booking tools, or communications we provide through it (together, the "Site"). By using the Site, submitting a form, or opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Eligibility
The Site is intended for use by individuals who are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. By using the Site, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Estimates, Proposals, and Services
The Site describes Craft Home Remodeling's remodeling and construction services and lets you request an estimate, consultation, or in-home assessment. Content on the Site — including descriptions of services, project galleries, and any figures or ranges shown — is provided for general informational purposes only.
Submitting a request does not create a contract for work, and nothing on the Site is a binding offer. Any project scope, price, schedule, warranty, and payment terms will be set out in a separate written agreement signed by both you and Craft Home Remodeling. If anything in these Terms conflicts with that signed agreement, the signed agreement controls for that project.
Craft Home Remodeling is licensed by the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) as a General Building contractor, License # 1114525. You can verify our license status at any time on the CSLB website. Information about contractor licensing, and about filing a complaint, is available from the CSLB at cslb.ca.gov or 1-800-321-CSLB (2752).
4. Information You Submit
You agree that the information you provide through the Site is accurate and that you are authorized to provide it. In particular, you agree that any phone number you submit belongs to you, or that you are authorized to receive calls and text messages at that number and to consent on the account holder's behalf. Please notify us if you give up or change a phone number you have provided.
5. SMS / Text Messaging Program
When you submit a form on the Site, you may check a box consenting to receive text (SMS) messages from Craft Home Remodeling at the phone number you provide. Checking that box is optional and is never pre-selected. This program sends appointment- and estimate-related messages — for example, confirming a scheduled assessment, sending a reminder before an appointment, following up on a request you submitted, or coordinating a project consultation.
- Message frequency varies based on your project and scheduled appointments.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan and carrier.
- To opt out, reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive a confirmation and we will stop sending texts to that number. You can resubscribe by replying START.
- For help, reply HELP, or contact us using the details in section 13.
- Consent is not a condition of purchase.You are never required to agree to text messages in order to request a quote, buy anything, or work with us. You can always reach us by phone, email, or the Site's contact form instead.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change without notice.
We do not send text messages for the marketing or promotional purposes of any third party. How we handle the phone number you provide is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Phone Calls and Call Tracking
We use call-tracking technology on the Site, which may display a different phone number depending on how you reached us and may record or log details about calls (such as the number dialed, the source that referred you, and call duration) so we can measure and improve our advertising. Calls may be monitored or recorded for quality, training, and record-keeping purposes. If you do not wish to be recorded, please tell us at the start of the call or contact us by email instead.
7. Intellectual Property
The Site and its contents — including text, photographs, project galleries, graphics, logos, and the Craft Home Remodeling name and branding — are owned by Craft Home Remodeling or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use in evaluating our services. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or use our content or branding for any other purpose without our prior written permission.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, or impersonate anyone else.
- Use the Site to send spam, or use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or overload the Site.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its systems, or any data it processes, or interfere with its normal operation.
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may link to or embed third-party websites and services (for example scheduling, mapping, review, or analytics providers). We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy.
10. Disclaimers
The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any information on it is complete or current.
This section applies to your use of the Site. It does not limit, waive, or disclaim any warranty, guarantee, or obligation that applies to construction work we actually perform for you — those are governed by your signed project agreement and by applicable California law.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Craft Home Remodeling and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, personal injury, or gross negligence.
12. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. This section does not affect any dispute-resolution provision in a signed project agreement, which controls for disputes about that project.
13. Changes, Severability, and Contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to this page with an updated effective date, and your continued use of the Site means you accept them. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
